Sell a working trailer with the information buyers need
Clear ownership, dimensions, capacity, running-gear condition, and loading access can separate a useful trailer from an uncertain project.
Identity and ownership
- Manufacturer, model, VIN or serial number, and year
- Title, registration, plate, bill of sale, or other ownership records
- Deck or box dimensions, axle count, rated capacity, and hitch type
- Known alterations, attachments, gates, ramps, or livestock dividers
Condition buyers evaluate
- Frame, floor or deck, body, roof, gates, and welds
- Tires, wheels, bearings, suspension, brakes, jack, chains, and lights
- Rust, collision damage, leaks, rot, or missing components
- Roadworthiness and whether professional transport is required
We do not assume a trailer is roadworthy or ownership is transferable. Material title, identity, safety, and condition questions must be resolved or disclosed before sale.
